Country Shooters website!
HCS
is dedicated to the Ultimate in accuracy
shooting competition. Our club is affiliated with the National
Benchrest Shooters Association. The competitions are
divided into two types of competition i.e shooting for score
or shooting for group. Each shoots a different type of target.The
shooting competition is divided into 5 relays shot at 100 yards
and again at 200 yards. Many shooters utilize custom rifles
with custom loaded ammunition, wind flags and other specialized
equipment that promote phenomenally accurate 5 shot groups
over a wide range of conditions and over a full day of competition.
All shooters are welcome to shoot
with their tactical, hunting or other accurate rifles.
You will find many competitors
who will be most helpful to any new shooters. Young shooters
may shoot with proper supervision and parental permission.
Match Information
HCS matches are normally
held from March through August on the the third Sunday of each
month.
Matches are held at Dietz Gun Shop & Shooting Range located
in New Braunfels, TX. The annual Texas State "Bluebonnet" match
is usually held in April of each year and around 60 of the
best
shooters
in Texas congregate here for shoot off. See the Calendar.
Interested shooters are always
welcome to visit and observe any day we
hold a match.

Shooting Bench Rest in the

On special Sunday mornings,
as the sun comes up, the HCS shooters prepare to shoot the
smallest
groups possible in the windy hill country near New Braunfels
Texas at the Dietz Gun Shop and Shooting range.
